Casual point-and-click anthology

Ghost In The Mirror is a premium adventure experience, containing an anthology of short ghost stories set to appeal to different kinds of audiences. To help players immerse themselves in the story, it features simplistic point-and-click gameplay as you proceed through the narrative, make decisions, and solve puzzles.

Its cartoon-inspired art style and variety of activities to do make Ghost In The Mirror a massively enjoyable experience, although some players might look for more content. Some stories in the set are restricted by their short playthrough length. For similar games, try Life is Strange and Papers, Please.

Follow different haunted tales

One thing that sets Ghost In The Mirror apart is its anthology setup. Instead of a singular story, you get several short stories that feature the supernatural. Despite its supposedly spooky theme, it is far from scary. Not only does it lack gore and jumpscares, but it is written in a humorous way. Expect irony, vulgar language, obscure jokes, and even breaking the fourth wall to present its stories.

As a point-and-click game, you simply use your mouse to direct where your protagonist will go and how they will interact with the environment around them. It features fetch quest mechanics, visual puzzles, and riddles aside from the periodic need to make decisions. This short story approach works well with its visual style, reminiscent of Flash games from the 90s and 2000s.

Although it’s a point-and-click title, it has excellent support for gamepads. The only challenge with this game is that some entries in the anthology feel underdeveloped. Either because they fail to explore other storylines, or they just have short playthrough lengths. Also, despite having minimal system requirements, the only catch is that it only works on systems running Windows 10 and later.

Multiple short stories for the price of one

Overall, the anthology setup of Ghost In The Mirror ensures that you get your money’s worth. Despite being themed around ghosts and supernatural elements, its stories are anything but scary. Its mix of simplified point-and-click mechanics, the variety of activities and puzzles, and the irreverent humor make every story connect with players. This strong build-up, unfortunately, will also leave you longing for more.
